YDI empowers young people and women to develop innovative solutions addressing the interconnected challenges of climate change and public health, with malaria prevention, control, and elimination as a key area of intervention.

YDI works to empower young people and women who face significant barriers to participating in local economies, particularly unemployment, limited access to finance, and inadequate market-relevant skills.

The SDY Centre will equip young people aged 15–35 with practical, market-relevant skills and professional qualifications through TVET, preparing them for employment, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihoods.
